Message from Principal

"The S. Amarjit Singh Sahi Government Polytechnic College is a technical institute approved by AICTE, Delhi and affiliated with the Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh. Established in 2016, the college is located in Sector 3, Talwara, District Hoshiarpur, approximately 30 km from National Highway NH1 and 4 km from the Himachal state border. The college currently offers five 3-year diploma courses to students in:

1. Civil Engineering

2. Computer Science & Engineering

3. Electrical Engineering

4. Electronics & Communication Engineering

5. Mechanical Engineering

The primary objective of this institute is to impart technical education, develop technical skills, and provide practical training to students, enabling them to secure placements in their respective industries. The efforts are focused on providing hands-on experience with various tools, machinery, and technologies, fostering problem-solving abilities, and developing supervisory skills for real-world industrial environments. The institute aims to create a strong foundation in scientific, mathematical, and technical concepts and principles, teaching students to apply these concepts to solve industrial problems. The emphasis is on instilling high moral values, punctuality, discipline, professional communication, and teamwork, as per industry requirements. The institute has a team of highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced faculty members who impart technical skills and training to students according to industry needs. The college provides a conducive environment for students to turn their dreams into reality and excel in their chosen fields with confidence for facing the challenges of rapidly changing technologies and industry requirements. I hope this institute is on the right path to imparting technical education, training students, and facilitating their placement in reputed industries.
